In the past few months, we have seen tremendous changes to the global economy and the world’s financial markets. Many companies are concerned about how they will operate in a post covid-19 world. As your wealth advisor and President of Summit Financial I have seen first-hand, how our client centered focus has helped to make significant differences in the lives of each of our clients. Over the last year we have expanded our team as many of you know with the addition of Justin Skidmore, CFP®, ChFC® and Patricia Reilly, Client Services Specialist. Additionally, we added direct dial telephone lines that have allowed us to provide uninterrupted service during the stay-at-home order in NY. Our results, and feedback from our clients has been exceptionally positive.
We have decided to further increase our level of productivity in our back-office operations. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that we have associated with the national independent brokerage firm of LPL Financial LLC. We believe this new association will greatly enhance our ability to service your accounts. LPL Financial is one of the leading financial services companies and the largest independent broker/dealer in the nation, representing more than 16,000 independent financial advisors across the country.*
We are also exceptionally pleased to announce that we have moved to a new location just a few blocks away at 145 Pinelawn Road, Suite 345N, Melville, NY 11747. Our new and private office space will allow us to manage our environment much more safely, while allowing us more room for growth. Our Direct dial telephone number remains the same at 631-595-5700. All of our emails that end with @SummitFinancialSVCS.com also remain unchanged.
Over the past year we have evaluated our clients’ needs and how we are able to serve them. We decided we needed to make these changes to provide you with the best possible service and to provide us with the opportunity to grow with the help of a service provider qualified to handle a firm of our size. As always we will continue to help and serve you, just like we always have for the past 20 plus years. In this way nothing has changed except for the benefit of operational efficiency. Maureen has decided that she wants to retire to spend time with her family. We are all sad to see her go but are thrilled that she will get to spend quality time with her kids and grandkids, instead of seeing the inside of our office every day!
In the next week, you will receive forms to sign that will enable us to continue to service your accounts. None of your investments will change. Once received, the forms take only a few days to process with most of the investment companies, and we will then be back to normal. You will also receive new log-in information at that time, to view your accounts online.
